The Taste Gala 2018 – November 2, 2018
This benefit event is held annually for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Indianapolis in cooperation with Riley Hospital for Children. This year, the gala was held at the Bitwell Event Center on the beautiful White River Parkway in Indianapolis.
More than 450 people attended, tasting their way through the fine wines of Italy. Indy Facets was the event’s Fine Jewelry Partner, meaning we helped raise an astounding $220,000 to support children and families who are coping with serious illness.
This event is the single largest fundraiser of the entire year for the Indy Ronald McDonald House, which has been raising money for Indy families for 35 years. Because of the funds raised, at least 5,000 families going through difficult times will have necessities like homemade meals, warm beds and hot showers.
Although the Indy Facets prize winner for this event remains anonymous, The Ronald McDonald House shared this note of thanks: “Thank you for the support! The gumball machine was amazing!”
It is our honor and pleasure to support others who do so much good in this community. We’re looking forward to many years of helping The Ronald McDonald House and supporting the people of central Indiana.
The 9th Annual Raising the Stakes for Noble – November 17, 2018
Poker lovers and philanthropists know that this is one of the best fundraisers of the year. Raising the Stakes benefits children and adults with disabilities, because Noble believes in all people achieving the best quality of life possible.
The event kicked off at The Crane Bay with a delicious dinner, followed by a fast-paced charity poker tournament. Everyone was dressed in their best cocktail attire and enjoyed music from The Flying Toasters, party games, live magic and a festive holiday atmosphere.
Indy Facets was the Event Jeweler for Raising the Stakes, donating a diamond and gift certificate for one lucky person to have a personal jewelry experience. The lucky winner is Ashley Naab, and we can’t wait to design with her!
Raising the Stakes for Noble is expected to help more than 1,100 children and hundreds of adults in 2019 by consistently raising about $70,000 every year through this event. Thank you to everyone who donated to Noble for a chance to win a diamond or gemstone from Indy Facets.
