When Camron decides to propose to Savitri, he envisions a ring as special as she is.

Traditional yet modern. Stylish yet refined. Camron also knows exactly who will help him design a one-of-a-kind custom ring. With our knowledge, experience and passion, Indy Facets can bring his dream -and this extraordinary piece of jewelry- to life.

And this is exactly what happens.

Listening to Camron describe his soul mate, we know Savitri deserves an engagement ring that reflects her unique beauty and spirit. Only a stunningly brilliant pear-shaped diamond is worthy enough to sit on her hand.

Utterly Spectacular

The pear-shaped diamond is considered a fancy cut, where extra facets are used to increase its brilliance. A cross between a round and marquise cut, this teardrop gem is round on one end and pointed on the other. The unique shape provides a slimming effect to the hand, not to mention drama, drama, drama for the wearer.

Many women wear pear-shaped diamond rings with the point facing toward the fingernails to increase the illusion and radiance. It possesses the same number of facets (58) as a round stone and ranks high on the brilliance scale.

Owner/Designer Shaun Goodyear says, “Surrounding a pear-shaped diamond with smaller diamonds maximizes the center stone’s luster. It gives the gem that extra oomph it needs to go from beautiful to spectacular.”

Brilliant Color Diamonds

Savitri’s engagement ring not only features a pear shape, it features a yellow diamond. Yellow diamonds belong to a special family of natural fancy color diamonds -that is, a force of nature colors a regular colorless diamond (nitrogen found in them during the formation process), making it everything but regular.

However, natural color diamonds are extremely rare. Although yellow diamonds are the most common, about one in 16,500 carats mined is a yellow diamond – that’s still a pretty singular diamond.

Natural color diamonds are really a combination of multiple colors. The most common color combinations found in yellow diamonds are Brown Yellow, Green Yellow and Orange Yellow. Pure yellow diamonds are often referred to as canary diamonds or canary yellows.

One of the most desired color diamonds, natural yellow diamonds are fashionable, warm and cheerful. They will literally light up the room – just like Savitri.

“This ring is the most beautiful piece of art I have ever seen, and I have the great honor of wearing it,” Savitri says. “It’s perfect. Thank you, Shaun.”

Our best wishes to Camron and Savitri

We’re so excited “he put a ring on it” – a beautiful, custom-designed, pear-shaped yellow diamond engagement ring. It’s absolutely our pleasure, Savitri. We’re so happy you love it.
